For small, single session custom work, (palm-sized or smaller) I will provide a flat-rate quote range prior as part of the booking process. The quote is subject to change if you request changes to the design. Our shop minimum cost is $100. Larger, multi session work, as well as all cover ups, are $180 per hour. This rate accounts for my time spent working with you in the studio as well as outside the studio designing your tattoo. I charge based on tattooing time only, and I do not take a separate drawing fee.

For reference, a palm sized tattoo could take from 2-3 hours. A 5x7" tattoo could take from 3-5 hours. Most tattoos over 4 hours I will break up into multiple sessions. Tattoos require a healing time of three weeks between sessions and we can space the subsequent sessions out further if needed to suit your budget. Detail, placement, and black and grey vs. color are factors. Larger scale projects are more difficult to estimate and naturally require more budget flexibility.

In all cases, if you have a budget you are trying to meet I am willing to hear your idea and suggest adjustments to sizing and detail to make it work for what you can spend! I recognize that times are tough and want my tattoos to be accessible to working class folks. I find that if there is enough flexibility with the concept I can almost always meet clients' budgets, within reason.
